East Valley Poets meeting October 21, 2017

Join the East Valley Poets for their October 21st meeting.  Please join moderator Eva Willis for this special program!

We also invite you to participate in the morning’s Open Readings that follow.   Feel free to read your own poems or the poems of your favorite poet; or simply listen and enjoy the poetry being shared.  No pressure, just poetry. 

Eva's poetry prompt for October is "My Favorite Poet or My Favorite Poetry".  We all look forward to hearing where the prompt leads you.

2014 National Federation of State Poetry Societies Convention

The 2014 National Federation of State Poetry Societies Convention was held June 26-29 at the DoubleTree by Hilton-Salt Lake City Airport, hosted by the Utah State Poetry Society. The conventation theme was "Utah Rendezvous of Poets for All Seasons."  Please go to www.nfsps.com for information about NFSPS and other events.

ASPS 2014 Spring Festival

The Arizona State Poetry Society Annual Spring Festival was hosted by the East Valley Poets on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at the Tempe Pyle Center.  The ASPS Poetry Theme Contest “The Arizona Trail” was won by David Byrn for his poem “High Prairie Encounter”; Molly Saty placed second with “The Arizona Trail”; and Gene Gant was third with “Canyon Colors”.

Go to the ASPS website and click on "Annual Dues" and you can pay through our website. We're doing our best to make it easy on you!!

If you wish to join any of our branches, please contact that branch as their dues may range from $3 to $5 per year.
