PHOENIX, Aside of Heart Open Mic, corner of 5th St& Garfield, 8 pm. Featured poet and open reading. Hosted by Neil Gearns or Amy Uzi.


TEMPE, Changing Hand First Friday Poetry, 6428 S. McClintock Dr., 7 pm. Starts with feature poet followed by an open reading.

PHOENIX, Infuse Open Mic, Phoenix Center for the Arts Theatre, 1202 N. 3rd St., 5:30 pm – 9:00 pm. Poetry, Music, Comedy, etc…Lalli is your host!


GLENDALE, Words in the Alley at A Shot of Java, 7003 N. 58th Ave (in the alley behind the pizza joint), 7 pm. Open reading to start followed by the feature, Amy Uzi one of the hosts of Aside of Heart. Host for WITA – Dani.


PHOENIX, Phoenix Poetry Slam at Lawn Gnome, 905 N. 5th St., 8 pm. Hosted by RhowieShebala. Poetry slam happens EVERY Thursday here.
